Default Borla Stingers - Chicagoland

Anyone in the Chicago far Northwest suburbs (Huntley for reference) have Borla Stingers dual tips (part #140017) on their C5 that wouldn't mind me coming by to hear what they sound like? I currently have Corsa's and am considering changing them out for a more aggressive sounding system. Appreciate the help.

More agressive? Which Corsa do you have? The Corsa is a much more muscle car sound. I have the dual tip stingers, and to me, it sounds much more exotic. And, it is agressive

Really? I would have said the opposite. I had the Corsa Indy's on my 97 and now I have Stingers on my 98 and would say the Stingers are much more deep and throaty while the Corsas were higher pitched and more exotic sounding. Also, I would say the Stingers are a good amount louder.

Thanks guys for your opinions but I don't want this thread to get off track. I am looking for someone local to my area so that I can get a listen

If you go to the Corvette Funfest in Effingham this weekend you can listen to just about every exhaust combination there is! I'll be there with the following set-up:

- Borla Stingers (Dual)
- Dynamax LT Header System
- Ported and polished throttle body
- Underdrive Pulley
- Custom cam

It's VERY aggressive and I love it...

Couldn't be "different" ears. cause...

The corsa' sounded higher pitched to me. The borla's put the muscle back in the exhaust note.

Try my appetizer... It's nowhere near as good as hearing it in person, but it'll give you an idea.

I always thought Corsas "burbled." I've had both on my C5's and I like the Borla Stingers, hands down.
