I purchased a 2001 Tourch Red Coupe on Sept.5,2006. I ha a 1993 40th before this.
My problem is this we have a very steep driveway(New), and when I back out or enter the front lower rubber scrapes about a 1/2 inch. I purchased some wheels from Mid America, however this will not fix the problem. Is there a way to lift the front about a 1/2"?
Thanks in advance for suggestions.
P.S. changing the driveway is NOT an option, wife already told me that..

The black plastic piece is meant to be scraped, it's even hinged for that porpose! I also have a steep driveway, and no matter what angle I approach it it scrapes, it's the nature of the beast! I scrape it every morning and night, but never left marks on the driveway! Either you will have to live with it, or try to cut the air dam down by about 1/2", but be warned, it is meant to scoop fresh air into your radiator and cutting it down may cause your water temperature to rise! Good luck!

I wouldn't raise the front - it's already high at the stock height (just look at the number of people that lower theirs). Try going in at an angle. Sometimes that helps. Otherwise, just plan on having to replace the front air dams every so often (they are not that expensive and are easy to replace).
I have tried the comming in at an angle and it is a little better. After seeing the hinge on the air dam I think I am going to let it be the way it is.
I am returning the bumper saver wheels to Mid America.
Thanks all

Whoa, you didn't mention the bumber wheels, I'd keep them on, their pupose is to prevent the metal crash bars from getting mangled up by curbs and such, but not for driveways! KEEP THOSE ON!
