Default How about this???

Hey guys
I am having a weird problem here.Actually since the beginnig of the summer my car is acting weird. For example when it`s too hot let`s say over 90.My keyless entry is stop working along with my right front tire sensor .I mean it`s not a very big deal but high heat is effecting the electronics in a bad way I guess. And when the wheather cools down everything is going back to normal.I was just wondering has somebody experienced the same thing lately.
Take Care
Pasha

Keyless entry and tire pressure monitoring system both use the same remote receiver which is located in the left rear fender, just above the wheel well. The right front tire pressure monitor is the furthest away from the receiver and usually the first to lose signal when the receiver starts to malfunction. I suspect that the receiver is malfunctioning in the extreme heat and causing your keyless entry and TPS problems.

Sounds like there is an issue with the RFA Module (Remote Function Actuator) It's the module that intercepts the signals from the Key Fob's and Tire Pressure sensors, it also has the antenna attached directly to it. It it mounted behind the drivers seat against the body behind the plastic trim. I would suspect the module since you are having this issue with 1 Tire pressure reading, a bad power , ground , or communication signal I would think you would have issues with all fobs, and tire pressure sensors. I would check and see if you have some codes stored after this problem occurs.

Good Luck!
