If you want to quiet down the cabin noise of your C5 you need to do 3 things:
1. Rip out the entire interior and trunk. Insulate with the product of your choice. Easiest and least expensive to work with is the FROST KING insulation available at Lowe's.
2. Buy a partition.
3. Replace run-flats with "regular" tires. The run-flats are extremely noisy.
Partitioning alone will not eliminate the outrageous road noise booming from your rear tires though the trunk and into the cabin.

I a frc because I love the styling and I wanted a truck to keep cabin clutter to a minimum. The partition allows me to really have a trunk and has some sound deading qualities.
