Default rear deck lit squeak

Ok So I finally got some nice weather to take the car out topless this morning. I closed the deck lit but I hear a squeak from it as I drive.

Any thoughts ?

IS this an adjustment?
Do I need to put something after mkt to stop this? When the top is up it makes no noise so I am guessing the pressure of the top keeps it locked down so it does not vibrate.

I can see this will be annoying driving the car.

There are some rubber blocks that keep the roof secure when its down. Have they dropped off or shifted? If so it may let the roof move.

I loked at the rubber stops and they seem ok but there is no adjustments to be made on them.

You may want to try putting a light coat of dilectric grease on the rubber blocks and other rubber seals. It will protect them also

My vert squeaks on occasion too. I've found it to be coming from the vinyl patch on the carpet where the top rests (on the wheel well). I've found that if I throw a small towel, like a 12"x12" microfiber detailing towel between the vinyl and the bottom of the top that it doesn't squeak. Hope this helps!
