The rear window on my 98 conv top seems to be coming unattached to the top. Has anyone has this problem and is there a particular adhesive I can use to reattach and seal it? Thanks!
Its been reported before. One member posted that he has used Perfect Glue 2 from Home Depot and another used JB Liquid Weld. Both said it worked well initially but never reported how durable the fix was.

You'll need to replace the top. Any "fix" is temporary at best.
In my area, Baltimore, a new OEM top installed is approx. $1,200.00

I agree. I had the same thing happen to mine and the glue worked for about 3 months. But during that time I searched on on the forum and found a brand new top for $250 and it cost me $250 for the install.

The glue that was mentioned in a previous post from Home Depot worked for about 3 weeks and slowly started coming apart.
Husband suggested this morning to take it somewhere to have it fixed. I think he's in for a shock when he finds out that we will have to replace it all together.
