Default Borla At Carlisle

This year was my first time attending the huge event at Carlisle, 2 days wasn't enough, but that will leave me more to see next time around. My wife actually encouraged me to get a new exhaust system, like almost everything else about the Vette I didn't need it, but what the heck ! At Installer Alley Corsa, Borla & Bassani were doing installs... these are photos of how the Borla folks installed my new "Stingers"... great sound, should come with a lead boot for your right foot!

My stock exhause sounded fine & had nice tips installed... but I wanted MORE !

It only took about 20 minutes to install the new system, they weren't doing X-Pipe installs, didn't need one anyhow. I paid for the exhaust at the Ecklers booth, Borla had a trailer full of them ready once you showed up with the paid receipt.

The finished job looked & sounded great. All three manufacturers were busy, the Borlas were the right choice for me. It was great to be able to compare them all side by side !

I had Bassani's installed at Carlisle. You are correct, all the installers were busy all weekend.

This will let you hear how they sound.

Congrats on the new exhaust. A good sounding car sure makes it a pleasure to drive.

Off topic, but I'm kind of shocked to see the lifts sitting on bare ground. Isn't that dangerous?

I wonder what they do with the pile of discarded, stock exhaust at the end of the day?

You will see them for sale next year at some of the used parts vendors
displays. Seriously

I got my chance to hear a whole bunch of different exhaust sounds at a Dyno Day event, a few years back. Borlas stood out as being closest to that 60s sound that I had for so many years in my 68 C3.
Congratulations for choosing the incredible Borla sound - gotta love it!

These new lifts are more structually supported and use large square "feet" on the bottoms, and this one probably has an anchoring system on it....they aren't going anywhere!
