If you can get sub 2.00 60', you should do really well. I have a hard time getting traction off the line.

Keep us posted on your track times.

Good luck

I have a little guidance. I know what is going on and all, but there are a couple things I might have missed without a little help.

You sir are absolutely correct. 99.9% of C5's that are basically stock make right around 290-300 RWHP. Then you get these #'s and you know there's something going on.
But what the he$$, if that makes the owners happy, great. As they say, ignorance is bliss.
My guess is that at the drag strip thes mega HP cars will run about the same, or slower, than all the rest. But we'll never hear that.
Ain't bench racing great?

Sure...although tonight I am only going to be at the 1/8th. I only go to the quarter every couple months because it is a bit of a hike.

great, that is usually what I run on too. Now I can have some kind of comparison (note mods in signature/profile). I haven't dynoed since the car was bone stock.

I would appreciate it!

Cool, what software are you using? I'm looking to buy something to tune my 98 in the near future.

With those perhaps you can scrape the high 12's or very low 13's!

Please let us know the track results!

Thanks,Matt

I am gunning for a mid 12, actually.

I went to the 1/8th mile tonight, I am SO FREAKING STOKED...

I ran a 8.3 @ 86.3 mph with a 1.94 60' on street tires...

Maybe it's just me, but I think that is a pretty damn good time for a vararam & catback...

EFIlive.

I have everything here at the house that you could want to tune with. HPtuners, EFIlive, tunercat, etc. I prefer EFIlive, I just don't think anything can beat it. The built in scantool is so awesome, it is so painless to use. What I really love about it is if I scan a run at the track and i see something I don't like in the scan, I highlight the graph and on the tuning side of EFIlive, it highlights all of the cells in which that problem is occuring. It doesn't get any easier than that!!

Here's the whole rundown. Don't mind my ****ty reaction time, I usually run a full tree. When I pulled up it was a pro tree. The lights were lit & gone and I was like oh ****, I need to go!! I made up for it later with an .009 light.

r/t ----------- .711
60'----------- 1.942
330'---------- 5.518
1/8th mile ---- 8.389
MPH --------- 86.323

Wow, that's a really good short time for street tires in one of these IMO.

I just dyno'd my bone stock 98 converatble 6spd today and got 299.90 and 315 fp torque with no tuning at all. Drove it in hooked it up.
I thought that was pretty good.
Now come the mods.
