Loose Battery Cable Question
I discovered today the neg cable on my Optima was loose.
Could that explain why my average MPG reset to 0 overnight on occasion? What about the headlights not popping up on occasion? The car never died on me, but a couple of times it just clicked when I tried to start.
Thanks for your reply.

Time will tell but grounding problems can cause strange things to happen.

Loose battery cables can cause weird things to happen. Hopefully with you tightening it down, the problems will stop.

As cars incorporate more computer technology, this is bound to happen. This is no different than IT networks in offices and homes - without a solid grounding system, stuff happens all over the place.
