Post supercharger - Headers

Default Post supercharger - Headers

I know that before a supercharger or any other major power adder job, headers would generally net you a good 15 to 30 horsepower, depending on the car, tune and any other modifications done to the car. But after the supercharger, what kind of difference would the headers make? Any significant difference between headers pre and post supercharger?

I would think that the headers would compliment a SC very well. You have so much air being forced into the block, that the more air being allowed out equals good.

Yeah, I would tend to agree. I wonder if anyone here would have any dyno numbers that proves any significant increase in power with headers and a supercharger. And by significant, I'm thinking around 50RWHP.

I'm researching now as well... and I've "heard" LT's are another 30-40 at the wheels... considering at parasitic power loss of 15-20% -- -that could be about 50 HP at the crank.
