Default Speedo, DIC read different MPH?

The needle on my speedo reads 1 to 3 mph higher than the DIC says when I use the cruise control. Are all 'vettes like this? Some? Just mine? It's kind of annoying to me.

I know if mine if not on cruise control that they are both in agreement. I'll have to check it in cruise control mode. What speed are you at roughly?

I'm definitely in the 1-2 mph discrepency range here myself, and the DIC reads slightly higher.

This may sound dumb, but how do you get speed on the DIC. I've never seen it on my 03, just avg mph.

When you set the cruise control, you get a reading on the DIC of the speed you have set, I've noticed particularly at 64 MPH I have a hard time setting it, it will tap up or down to 63 or 65, but doesn't like to set at 64.

I am glad to know mine is not the only one that hates 64 mph. Also likes to skip 73 as well. My speedo reads 2 mph higher than the cruise setting in the DIC.

I have done an overall test to see if my mileage was accurate. I used a navigation system and mile markers to check for accurate mileage. My mileage was off by 5%. I discovered this when I was trying to get an accurate fuel mileage. But found out my speedo didnt match up over a couple long trips to the mile markers and state posted toll mileage. It may say I am doing 60 MPH, but my mileage reads 63 Miles. I have called a few places to check on this. Anyone else discover this? Unless you look for it, you may never know....Something is awry. Either the speedo or the mileage.
