Learning C5s
. For instance M6, FRC etc. I know ZO6, Z51 but not some of the other stuff, did a search but not finding what I need. Could you guys point out a link or explain some of the main option codes eg. vert, targa top, packages, major changes during year to year C5 production etc.? Looking at buying a second vette and trying to learn the C5s. Thanks for your help

Wow ask for abbreviations and you guys go all out. I use the forum alot for my 96 LT4. But I think what is throwing me alittle is the fixed roof deal. I'm assuming that it is not removeable? But I think I seen some vert with removeable hard tops that look almost identical? A Z06 is only available in a FRC? I'm looking for a six speed in iether in a vert or a targa top coupe preferrably black.

And you are correct the FRC does not have a removable top (hence "fixed roof coupe")

Your getting better every day.
The aftermarket hard top , for a vert, looks smiular to a FRC.
Its a good time to be shoping for a C5, as its a buyers market. Large numbers of good low milasge cars on the market. Do some more searching and ask your questions. If these guys can't answer them The'll make something up.
