Glue issue :-( ????????????????????
I had sprayed some spray glue in my garage and some got on the paint of my car and it's "black" as well as some on the windshield and side window. Now, I wanted to know what can I do about this - besides never doing it again! What products should I use on the Paint and Window.
Thanks,
Tony P.

As a start, I would try WD40 and/or GOJO (the hand wash gel). For the glass try using a razor blade first.
Good luck...it will come off, just do not use anything abrasive on the paint. I'm sure you realize that.

Thanks for the info - what does WD40 do to the paint? Also, can I use Goo Gone for the windows to remove the paint. Can I use a scratch remover and polish the car to remove the paint from the car?
Thanks,
Tony P

wd40 is a good suggestion, if that doesn't work, some Goo Gone will work.
Goo be gone, will take off wax, I'm pretty sure.
I don't think wd40 will hurt the paint in the least.

Denatured alcohol (Lowes, paint store etc..) is your friend. Has never harmed plastic, paint, etc. that I've used it on .

Water Displacement Formula #40 has a variety of uses other than the original design criteria of displacing water.

Read the package on wd 40, excellent for removing stickers on the paint. Says it on the container, I beleive it is kerosene. Hate those price stickers they put on things and bumper stickers.

Get yourself a clay bar from the parts store. That should safely take it off.
Regardless, you'll need to reapply wax afterwards.

Another claybar supporter. Easy and fast and no chemicals. Goo Gone is a great product and pretty safe, but claybar should do it.

I would also start with wd-40. It's safe, but definitely need wax when through.

Claybars + detail spray to keep it lubricated.

3M sells a can of glue removal.

From Mid-America. Used it when I installed koolmat to clean up over spray.
