I have a Pace Shadow 24 foot enclosed trailer. My 2004 Z06 is stock ride height and I have no problem loading it into the trailer. The Pace has a beaver tail design and I don't even have to jack up the tongue for loading. My trailer is a 1999 and has the wider rear ramp door option. The tail lights are in the door. The newer models have the taillights in the uprights and you lose about seven inches of width.
I think the nicest and easiest loading open trailer I have come accross for car transport is the Texas Rollback Trailer...very cool...check them out...http://www.texasrollback.net/
i have a 24 foot haulmark enclosed and with a few 2x6's at the end of the ramp and the trailer tilted back i can get some very low c5's in my trailer. my car is cut on front bushings and all the way on the rears and i can get in with no scraping. yellohhh's car is lower than mine and we got his in it with no issues as well.
Another option, if your looking for an open trailer, is the roll-back design.
I have the Sloan's Kwik-Load. Very easy load/unload without using ramps.
