Default ceiling fan

Hi, has anyone seen a corvette ceiling fan? We are thinking of doing our bedroom in corvette decor. We saw some nice curtains/comforter in MidAmerica catalog. Also looking for some table lamps for our dresser. Any help out there? Thanks

You could buy hood emblems and mount them on the fan blades and glue Corvette sheet fabric to plan white lamp shades. Any other decorating ideas I am available at reasonable fees.

That's one corvette novelty I haven't seen, but good luck in your search...

Haven't seen a ceiling fan with a Corvette theme yet. But did see a lamp - J C Penney had one earlier this year with I think a C2 on the base.

Default Customize

Buy a white fan and customize it with the multitude of decals and emblems available. Just be sure to balance the blades if you add emblems that have any weight to them. I'm sure you could do it very reasonably since stock fans are inexpensive. If you find someone who is selling them, you will probably pay the Corvette tax big time. Just my 2 cents.

No, it's not an obsession, although I have been told that I take everything I do to the limit. We just need to redo our bedroom and I don't want your usual boring room. We collect lots of themes including a huge coca cola collection and I wanted to do the bedroom in coca cola, but my wife isn't crazy about it. But when my buddy showed us draperies and bedding in the midamerica catalog, she got interested in that; I can't figure her out, because she thinks I spend too much time with our cars. I can't find any table lamps or a fan, so I probably won't do it. Since our whole house is full of collectibles, I just want to do something in the bedroom now. It's certainly not unhealthy but it is kind of a sickness when you collect anything.

Did my den in a "corvette" theme. My wife found the border, but it needed something else. She had the window cover made, I put a few pics of my car on the wall, etc. I have a few other things I'm going to do (desk lamps, etc), but I haven't come up with something for the ceiling fan yet.
My den shares equal billing with some of my drum memorabelia, autographs, etc. (The basement, however is ALL drums and music, including three drum kits, autographed neon signs, posters, etc., so that's where 'obsession' is in our house)

So I'm not the only one with a sickness Is that your car in that pic? I like the way that was done. Is that a pic of Peter Criss? I started playing drums when I was about 5 but never did anything professionally with playing.

this would never be in our bedroom. The wife is fine with the Vette, though she doesn't see the fascination. As long as it's in the garage we're fine.

Thought you were going to put a ceiling fan inside the Corvette. Why not get four C5 plastic valve/coil covers and screw them to the fan blades ?

I think I saw something like that at RS Components at Bristol. You could check them out there. I could also suggest some online websites on which you could try customizing them. But I wont suggest them because their customization s are very generic.

How often does the ceiling fan stop moving? I've always left mine on stopping only to clean it. Anything for the blades would be hard to tell, unless your gonna get a light cover with the logo.

1st active day on the forum, only three posts in. How does one join a car forum and start out with a 12 year old thread about ceiling fans?
