molding strip down the side
What years of C5 have the thin molding strip down the side? Was it only '03s?
What other subtle differences are there between C5's?

That strip is called Body Side Moulding. (BSM) It was an option on all C5's. Some love it (me). Some don't.

It was an option on all of the C5s.
I like the BSMs on the car.

It's called a Body Side Moulding. (BSM) It was an option on all 1997-2004 C5's.

Don't sugar coat it slick, how do you really feal?
Although I must concur that I agree, I prefer the clean look of no BSMs. However I do like the Spear inserts, for the brake vents.

Interesting that BSM's are not an option on the C6. Tells me that styling dept. did not like the look. BSM=
