Went thru the same dilemma myself when I got mine in 04; the dealer made me an outstanding deal on a full loaded a4 (they had not m6's left @ the time), & with all of the traffic I drive daily, haven't minded the A4 for two years, though have to say that if it were only a weekend toy, I'd go for the M6, as you do get more performance out of it (tho the A4 is no slacker for sure, with all that torque!). Enjoy either, though, for sure!
