Default Correct Tire Pressure

I have Toyo T1S's and the tire says the max inflation is 50psi. I know that you don't need 50psi in the tires. What would be the happy medium that will yield the best performance and least treadware?

Look on drivers door for proper inflation. Start with 30 psi cold and keep an eye on tires. Center wearing to much air, outside not enough air. (add 2 lb.) The side wall psi is just the max for that tire. The door psi is for the weight of the vehicle.

You want to be around 30 psi.
I prefer 28 psi cold which ends up around 32 psi warm...
Seems to give me the most even tread wear

32psi at running temp is perfect with T1S's. The grip is good and they wear well.

If you are going to a track day about 36 psi warm. Street 30 to 32 psi works great.

Several members use 30 psi warm and have had trememdous success. This will give the best combination of ride and tire life. This will however require a bunch more work on your part as you will need to adjust your monitoring habits as the weather and outdoor temps change. 30psi cold as indicated on the door panel is a safe "no one gets hurt" approach by the manufacturer.

I set mine at 34 psi after warming them up. I make sure all 4 tires are reading exactly the same after they are hot. You can watch the pressure sensors start going up as the tire temps. increase and the goal is to have all "4" reading the same psi, once they are up to temperature.

Really don't care what the psi is while their cold setting in my garage, but it is right around that 30 psi cold setting to have them reach 34 psi warm.

Works for me, all my tires are wearing equally.

Put Nitrogen in the stock GY runflats last weekend...tire guy filled them up to 44psi...max for the tire...so I could bleed them down. Took them down to 30 psi cold per the door label.
The tires with the nitro should have less pressure fluctuation and run cooler since it is dry.

I understand you should get the same effect with an in-line air dryer...water/moisture appears to be the main culprit with air pressure fluctuation.

I run 29 psi in the rears, and 31 psi in the fronts.

That's the max for hauling, etc. I would follow whats on the drivers door... seem to be happy with 28 all around.
