Default Need Interior Help

I started doing the fix for my 98's sliding seats and I lost the black plastic spacer thing down inside the seat somewhere and for the life of me I cant find it. If I put it back without the spacer what will happen? I think I shouldn't but dont know how to get another spacer. Does anyone know the part number? Also, what is the tool that you use to hook seat covers back on? I'm going to need it and some hooks.

How does the seat cover come off?

All done....and with a test drive. Phenominal result...and I managed without a new set of hog grips. The only thing I noticed was a little black plug that came out of the seat somewhere that had a little blue grease on it, so somewhere in the mechanism I might lose some grease, but I'm not taking it all back apart to look for that. If it f's up I'll pay to replace it.

But no more rock and roll unless from the stereo!!!!!!!

Here are the instructions I followed from the forum here.

I'm sorry to see that you had to reply to your owns posts...twice , but I am glad to hear that you accomplished your 'mission'. My seats also have the same 'rocking' problem, but I am physically incapable of performing the repairs myself.
Hopefully, the dealer has a 'fix' for this problem without 'hosing me over' during the process?

Its still got a problem...seems that now when my seat is all the way "down" and I try to move it from stop to stop from the back to the front in makes a loud noise like something is binding. It does it more if I have my legs extended so my weight is on the front of the seat. It never did it until now. But if I have my feet flat on the floor it doesn't make the noise. So, I dont know what to think. I wonder if I missed something or didn't get it back quite right.
