I am a reformed weight weenie from the Supra world, and made it a practice to catalog everything that I either removed or added to my previous car.
With the Z06, I don't feel the need to do this (yet) as I want to retain comfort wherever possible. However, I have some observations and questions regarding what has already been posted in this thread.
Observations -
Our cars weigh 3116 - 3120 pounds fully fueled. Since there are no significant options on C5 Z06, in terms of body weight, this is largely agreed upon. I did remove my BSMs which *might* be worth 2-3 pounds altogether.
Also, I'd discourage the use of a true lightweight battery unless you have either a great battery disconnect system or a battery tender, as I did used to use the Hawker PC680 (14.5 pounds) in my Supra, but if I left it hooked up the battery would be fully drained within 9 days or so.
Questions -
Where can I find out more about removing the a.i.r. pump stuff? That is a subsational amount of weight. Are there any downsides to that mod? (I assume tuning is required to not through CELs at minimum).
Suggestions -
Look into replacing your factory seats with something like the Sparco Roadsters if you want to lose significant weight and also gain performance in terms of lateral support. Even with the aftermarket rails, this mod would lose considerable weight.
Fixed headlights are also reputed to be worth about 5-8 pounds less than the pop up units. I'm considering those, should I find a set that are both reasonable in cost and also of decent quality. Losing weight at the extreme front end of the car is also a very good place to do it.
Again...fantastic thread!
Lighter rims, tires, rotors, driveline all have a pronounced effect.
General consensus is 1lbs of rotating mass effects like 4lbs. of static.
I replaced my power seat driver’s cradle with a manual one. The power cradle feels like it's more weight than the seat's themselves. Then the usual stuff like radio, speakers, air conditioning pump, etc. All depends how drastic you care to go.

The biggest things to cut weight on are the unsprung weight and rotating mass. Wheels, tires, rotors are both and will give you the greatest benefit.
Instead of adding more power for the C6 Z06, I'd rather see more money spent in the future on lightening the car even more. I don't need a 650 hp blown Corvette. I'd rather have the car the way it is now only with less weight.
My kind of philosophy right there.

BTW.. When Carroll Shelby worked on the Viper prototype, he gave them a 2,800 lb car. It was 3,500 lbs. once it made it to production. The Viper needs to go on a major diet as well.
