Chrome or silver wheels... Help me choose(POLL)
I currently have the factory silver z06 wheels on the QS z06. I have the chance to trade straight up for a set of Chrome reproduction z06 wheels(no rivets) factory sizes. They look identical to my wheels only chrome. Both set of wheels are in mint condition.
I have never been a fan of chrome wheels but IMO they look nice on Silver cars.
I wanted to get your opinions on the quality of the repro wheels. how well does the chrome hold up over time. Will i notice any performance loss with the heavier wheels or will it be very minimal. lastly what is the weight difference?
Anyone have pics of chrome wheels on a silver z.
thanks guys

I own a Sebring Silver 'vert and I have chrome and painted (silver) wagon wheels. I choose to ride on the silver wheels. They look better on the silver car to me.

These are actually Speedlines that Bob at House of Wheels had chromed, then offered on the forum. So I can't answer your questions, but I can show you pictures of the Chrome Z06 wheels on a Silver Coupe

I put a set of chrome repo Z06s on my coupe and ran them for about 3.5 years. Chrome still looked as good as new when I sold the wheels. Take care of them, and they will last a long time. And they look very good on a silver car.

I have the stock ones and wouldn't change. Too much bling in the world for me. You have a beautiful car, I think the chrome takes your eyes away from the rest of the car. Subtle, understated... I like that.
