Default PIAA fitament issue...

I am having issues with my PIAA 9005 high-beam bulb. It does not seem to want to fit into the slot. I put the 9006 low-beam in with no issues, but the 9005 does not want to fit. It almost looks too "long in the neck" area, where the blub connects to the housing.

Hard to explain and sorry, but I have no pictures. Just wondering if anyone else has run into issues with their 9005 bulbs?

TIA,
Rob

Try this link. I installed the 9005/9006 bulbs a few weeks ago referring to those directions and had no problems. The only difficulty I had was twisting/locking 1 of the bulbs in.

Had the same problem about a week ago.. I found I had to press, and I mean HARD, the bulb into the housing and THEN turn. I didn't do any modding to the bulbs like the above link, but I wonder if I should've..

The above link is if you want to put 9005 in the 9006 slot and vice versa (i think). I didn't have to modify the bulbs when I installed my 9005/9006s.

Yeah, I am just trying to put the 9005 into the 9005 slot. It seems like pushing really hard might just be the answer.

Thanks guys.
