Default Car Ramps

What is the difference betwwen the Rhino Ramps and the Race Ramps from the Corvette speciality stores? Now I know the Rhino's are about $60.00 and the Race Ramps are around $185.00. On a stock c5 will the front end scrape when using the Rhino's?

I've got the Rhinos and I only paid like $35 for them at Advance Auto. They work just fine on my 2003 Z (stock suspension).

I have Rhino ramps and the front air dam scrapes and has been torn off using them. that was even after I first drove onto a plank of 2x12.
The car is a Z51 at stock height. I know only back onto the ramps and jack up the front.

I don't understand that. I have a stock height 98 and the ramps work just fine. The front air dam swings up, but the ramps are only the width of the stock tires. I don't even need a 2x12 to drive onto first.

The race ramps were previewed here and the consensus was way too over priced. Do a search, you can build ramps out of wood for a lot less, even less than the $60 you quoted for Rhino. I paid like $35 for mine at Pep Boys, but its your $$$, spend it however you wish.

Never had an air-dam problem with the Rhinos. The air dam is very flexible.
