Scam-- I think

Being that I cannot get the picture from my documents right now I want you to understand that this car we are discussing is a 2000 MY/black vert with low miles (I can't remember exactly how many right now) and they want how much???
Start watching your backs people and research everything COMPLETELY.....
Thanks
Lori
The price I want to obtain is $13200(shipping is included in this price).
I recently moved to London, United Kingdom.I brought the car with me, but I can't drive it here because cars from here are with the steering wheel on right, and this has the steering wheel on left so for me this car is useless and the problem is that I can't sell it here because it's a US car and it is with the driver seat on the left side.
The car is like new, completely working, low miles, with 3 years EXTENDED, INTERNATIONAL and TRANSFERABLE warranty, which will be honored at any dealer .
It is US model with US specs and passed the US test emissions.
I would like to use Escrow-Europa for this deal because it is a large purchase and I want a smooth transaction.
If you are interested, please contact me ASAP.
Best Regards,
Cristine Pase

I actually emailed them back to se if they would give me an address. My husband did a google search on the escrow company and there is a black list website that has some good stories about them and an address they are using. If I get an answer I will send it to corvette hound and the black list site as well. Even though you can tell immediately that it is a scam (noone would be selling that nice a car for 13K) I want to make sure I have enough info to post for people..
So again---everyone here is REALLY smart but for those that need help (one report said the problem is that some people want whatever it is they are offering SO bad that they convince themselves it is ligit)---here is the help you need...

here is what I said in reply to this person's email:
Thank you for your reply. I have friends in London.. Can you give me an address that they can come and look at the car for me?? And maybe a phone number so they can contact you to make arrangements to see it??
Thanks

Believe it or not---I just got a reply back and here it is and it is pretty ballsy if you ask me...
I'm using escrow for this exact reason,I don't have free time to you or any other buyer,so let me explain you all the terms of this deal:you will have to make the payment to Escrow,I will receive the payment only after you will receive the car and approve it.I will start the shipping as soon as payment is clear with Escrow and I can and will ship it to your home address.
The car as you could see is in showroom condition and it has not been involved in any accidents. It is paid in full and it will come with the title, bill of sale signed by me and all the papers that you need to register under your name. I will support the shipping, including the shipping back,if you don't agree to keep it and in that case you'll receive a full refund from Escrow. The shipping will take 4 to 5 days and will start as soon as payment is clear with Escrow. Please email me your full shipping address:
-name
-address
-city
-zip
and I'll contact Escrow soon after. They will contact you and provide you all the informations that you need to complete this deal.I have a very tight schedule and I will only use Escrow to finish this deal!
Best Regards

I am actually surprised I got a response being that i said I had friends in London and wanted them to come and look at the car..
Heads up people...

I'd rather pay a couple of extra bucks knowing I'm going to get a car versus losing thousands of dollars on something like this.
As soon as I read the first email my wife got it had SCAM written all over it.... Never again....
Wayne
good fun if you're a little bit sadistic!
The contacted me, said they were going to send the payment PLUS and additional $4000 to cover shipping. At that point I was supposed to deposit the cashiers check, send $4000 via Western Union to the Shipper, and they were going to come pick up the car.
Well, luckily I did NOT send any money anywhere. I was able to verify with my bank that the cashiers check was bogus.
So, if any of you get an email from A guy named Andy Brian, with an e-mail address of brian_andyautos55@yahoo.com It's a scam!

..Scam alert..
