I think I am addicted to Corvettes. I know I'm not the only one. I love the way they look, the way they drive, the attention they get. They are freakin' awesome!!!
With the good comes the bad though. I love the stares, compliments, and thumbs up I get. I don't like the jealous haters and the racer wannabes.
Still it's a good tradeoff.
The thumbs and stuff is cool but pissing people off is even better
Some people think I am overpaid they should see my qualifications, bills, and then paycheck
My obsession has kicked into high gear now, as I've got a new plan! I've been wanting a C6 for a while, but I also love my C5 a lot too. So in about a year I'm going to start looking for a C6, but when I do find one for the right price, I plan on keeping the C5 and giving it to my wife! She does not like the C6, and was not keen on me trading the C5 for one. And I hate the thought of getting rid of such a good car when I know I wouldn't get a lot of money for it since I drive it everyday and it'll have a lot more miles on it next year. It's been wickedly reliably for me, and I would hate to see it go. My wife's been wanting a sports car for a while, but could never tell me which one she wanted, as I felt she really only liked the C5. But she felt she needed to get a four seater sports car, as she figured she'd get rid of her Civic. But with my new plan, we keep the Civic (which is very reliable too!), keep the C5 and get a C6. It's the best of everything, as everyone ends up happy! (especially our insurance agent and banker!)
I know I am addicted as well. I have been diagnosed with PERMAGRIN and currently have the initial symptoms of being a MODAHOLIC.
I don't know what can cure this....I don't know if it is curable.
