I need help trying to track down past info and current info on a 1960 corvette I am thinking about buying. I have the VIN. 00867S101200
I am trying to find out if the seller is legitamate. Could someone tell me or run the VIN for me. Appreciate the help.

I tried running carfax report but they do not run cars older then 1981 due to the 17 digit VIN. So where do you check to see if it is a valid VIN for a car older than that?
