I prefer the embedded look. I fitted taillight seals to keep some of the water out.

I personally can NOT stand the look of the flush tail lights. BUT then that should matter to only one C5, mine.

I'm not sure yet how I feel about them. I just bought the kit (cheep) and will put them on sometime soon. Not much to the kit, the one I bought has phillips head screws and I'm not happy with that. I will say from the pic's I've seen of them on I like them.

Previous owner installed European / flush. I wasn’t sure if I liked them or not. (I have the stock tail lights) Over time they have grown on me.
But than again so will mold.
Still undecided. Hey it’s only been about two years…………

I have the flush kit and like the look. It's cheap and easily installed and removed if you don't like it.
