I'm in Kuwait on business right now. And to my surprise I've seen a ton of Corvettes since I've been here. I'm seeing both C5s and C6s and the majority of each have been Z06s. Another interesting dynamic is all of the drivers are very early 20-something. How many 20-somethings drive C6s in the States? Money flows like oil for the local Nationals.
We have quite a few customers in Kuwait. They own Corvettes, H2s full size GM trucks ect... Very nice people too! One sent me pictures of the drag strip. There were alot of early model American cars. The only thing I saw different between their track and the ones in the US was I couldn't read their signs!
Check out the videos on his website....you will see that alot of his shots are done in Kuwait. He pieces them all together based on previously done publicity and film clips on Vettes, and shots of his own C6. And as an aside, and a woman, I really appreciate the fact that his videos concentrated on the CORVETTE and not cheap T&A shots. Excellent job! Really enjoyed watching them, and I know you will too.

I was in Kuwait back in 04 and saw a good number of C4s and C5s along with a bunch of Cameros.
ALL citizens of Kuwit share in their oil royalties. They import just about all of their labor to handle their every day needs. It is a country that is flush with money so they have more than enough expendable income to have the things they want. They were well healed when oil was $28 a barrell so things are probably just a tad better with oil in the $70 range. Enjoy it while it last.
