Not the easiest installation but I did manage it myself, no problems with water coming into the system if driven smartly. I have driven in the rain without incident but with the flash flood warning today I decided to take the other car. Results are second to none
My C5 has the B1 on it, it was on the car when I bought it, so I can not say anything about how hard it is to put on but have read on the forums here that it can be a PITA to put on. I have no fitment issues with mine, whomever put it on did a great job.
My car is a DD and has seen plety of rain. I've had the car six months and so far there have been no problems what so ever, but I do avoid puddles and spots that look like there may be a lot of water if I can. The only thing I did was order their gray filter after talking with a tech. It only had the thin foam filter at the time I bought the car. The tech told me to save the foam filter for the track and put in the gray one for daily use.
I really like the system, it sure feels like it makes more HP above 65 to 70 mph compaired to other C5s I have driven without the system.
