ok its time to lower my vette b/c its making me sick b/c it looks like a 4x4!!!!! can anyone help me by telling me the best way to do it???
That's funny, the only people who think a non lowered vette looks like a 4x4 are forum members with lowered vettes. I've had C5's since 98 and not one person has ever said,"that car is too high, I'd drop it down so it doesn't look like a 4x4". I have had several, though who said "that's so low, how do you drive it on these roads?" That's why there are so many choices in wheels, colors, mods, etc., cause everybody can do whatever they want to their own car and be happy.

personal taste issue here.
me? the C5's wheel gap is not only too much,, but its irregular (the gap isnt the same as you measure around the wheel)
which too me, is the only design flaw (although extremely minor) in the C5. I love the look of a lowered C5, what can i say.
i have 7" bolts ready for the rear, but havent decided on the front yet. hopefully lowering the front on stock bolts will be enough (for looks and my driveway approach!!)
