Ok so I am looking to build up my exhaust. I am looking at either the Supermaxx system or a Kooks system. I am wondering should I do a x and high flow cats at the same time as the headers or wait?
Does anyone have the Duramax/Supermax system? Any dyno numbers? Any problems with this setup?
Also how will headers change the sound of the car back? Will it make the exhaust louder? I have heard SLP Loudmouths and B&B Bullets and both sound awesome but I havn't heard them with headers. Will the headers and X make them louder?
Sorry about all of the questions just want to do this all right the first time if possible.
I'm sure both systems are good. I personally have the Supermax system sitting in my garage waiting to install them. I've only heard good things about these headers. Much easier to install than the Kooks.
I would definitely do the whole system at once (hi-flow cats and x-pipe) to get the full benefits of the headers. This will make it a true bolt on system by doing it all at once.
Headers will make the exhaust some what louder. Some people complain that their Bullets became too loud after installing headers, especially at WOT.
