[Z06] Can YOU drive 35mph?
Do you know how hard it is to do 35?? - it's torture. When he pulled off, after breathing a sigh of releif, I just had to let her stretch her legs...........
Do you know how slow 35mph is???
35 mph is too slow...
I had a similar experience where a young local fuzz thought he was being cute by following me almost all the way home..
had to drive it in 3rd gear and hope he had his window up to not hear the exhaust. I also had to take it out to blow the dust out of the throttle body and recover.
I was coming home today and a ricer was pulled over by an unmarked Cavalier (with lights flashing in the grill)...
they are sure trying to take the fun out of driving!

I just knew I was going to get nailed for the infamous loud factor...I short shifted and did everything I could think of to keep the car as quiet as possible. Eventually he just whipped around me and took off, but man was I nervous for those few minutes. I just really don't like those kind of tactics. I mean if they catch me speeding or whatever then I deserve what I get, but the intimidation thing doesn't go over well with me.

One "way" to get to my "big town" bypasses the state hwy. It's pavement.
Mostly 35 mph in the "middle of nowhere", with a few houses. No visual obstructions.
Then, with a few scattered houses on ONLY one side of the road, it's 30 MPH ! ! !
And, the final "30 mph" sweeping curve to a stop sign "connector", I've taken at 110 with no problem. Both ways.
It is just flat country-side grassland, no visual obstructions, no houses or side roads at ALL.
Oops, sorry, that was a BIG exaggeration. I have NEVER done that.

But, the entire road is "heaven" for the local officers. Not too hard to meet your "quota" because of a couple of "rolling ridges".

As our eyes met, I was thinking (H O O O L Y C H I T!!) and I can only imagine he was thinking "So,,,now tuff guy, what are you going to do??"
I dropped back down to 65. Wouldn't you know it,,,,so did he.
He shadowed me for quite a while and after he figured I had a big enough load in my britches, he ramped right back up to 80 and headed off down the road. I stayed closer to 70 for the rest of the trip.

and no i can not drive only 35. besides i get better gas mileage going 40mph. try telling that to the LEO. "um yes officer, i get better gas mileage at higher speeds" see how well that one works

in second gear maybe
