That Viper's paint just doesn't look like it has any "pop" to it. Kind of looks like it is severly oxidized. Is it just the camera or is the paint that dull? Great looking cars! I'd take the viper if I had some spare change laying around.
You got my memory doing some jogging now! I have a picture of my C5 Z06 with a friend's Final Edition (FE) Viper (all 399 FE's have the red paint and white stripes) somewhere. It'd be cool to post, but I'm not sure where the pic is. Is your dad's car an FE? It's definitely cool.
I'm a car guy, not a Vette Guy, so I don't see any offense to posting pics of the Viper (I had agreed to buy one at a time, but had backed out).
My friend's Viper is supercharged, and my vettes turbo'd, so we could definitely get in trouble there!
Beauty and the Clown Shoe. My suspicions have been confirmed. The C5 is just too beautiful in comparison Great Pics.
I agree......and I'm sure you and your dad have a lot of these kind of discussions. Maybe you can talk him into coming over to the Dark Side. Great pics and thanks.....

Almost, they were also there to tell the difference quickly on track and in the pits because many of the GS's were all painted the same color. Colors used were red, black, white, blue. The earlier ones had hood stripes, later they used the fender stripes.
