Well Today me and my dad decided to take our cars down to the beach and take some pics cause we have never done that before so i know some of you might think this is a SIN to put these two together but they got along JUST FINE
My new plate tell me what you think
I have seen those 2 red stripes on many vettes but have no clue what they stand for... anyone care to explain.
Your dad has one sweet ride... i think i may be selling my Z next year for a previous generation GTS.
Stripes are there to commemorate the Grand Sports race cars that Chevy killed in the mid-60's. '96 C4 had a "Grand Sports" edition that showed these stripes. The 60's Grand Sports were the original Z06's. So now we have a vette named after a particularly hot 60's model which Chevy killed because of the then racing ban agreed on by most (all?) U.S. car manufacturers. I may not be all correct but thats basically what the stripes are for. Anyway, thats my story and I'm sticking with it until someone corrects me
Beauty and the Clown Shoe. My suspicions have been confirmed. The C5 is just too beautiful in comparison . I wish your Father a speedy recovery .
Great Pics.
I have to agree---nothing against your Dad--but I was waiting for a clown to get out of the Wiper....must say though those Vipers really move, had the chance to drive one this summer.
