Yep!...fishing line or dental tape...sawing motion ...tie ends of line or dental tape around some kind of sticks so you don't cut your fingers off...then goo gone or WD40 the sticky off...you may even want to heat the bsm with a hair dryer to help soften the glue...take your time...then after all the sticky is off ,wax that baby and you shouldn't even see where the ugly things used to be

Disclaimer: No offense to peeps who still like the BSMs

Next thing you need to do is get frame savers and rocker rails from Andy...then a Blackwing and an exhaust plate...all small simple but needed mods

I got curious and found this post from a few years ago. (On a different forum. I think the forum was called "Usenet" I cut out some irrelevant stuff. Seems this debate has been going on for a while.

(Personally, I can't stand the molding. ) Anyway, here's a blast from the past:

Hope this helps.

Helps alot. Also appreciate your (and everybody else's) comments on the body
side molding. The consensus seems to be split down the middle. I'll have to
give that issue some more thought...

thanks,
Doug

zleehw,

I'm no George Barris or Chip Foose, but after looking at your wheels in your profile, I think I would take the BSM off for sure. Or swap out the wheels. Your wheels have such strong lines, and the BSM really conflicts with that. Just my 0.02
