Sunday night I developed an uneasy feeling in my chest followed by difficult breathing, hot flashes, and chest pain. I balked at going to the hospital even after a nurse on the 24 hour advise line urged me to go in. Later, as the wife rushed me to the emergency room I couldn't help but think. "Damn, we should have taken the Vette, this might be my last ride." After 2 days of tests in the hospital it was determined a new medication threw my heart out of sync. If there is a next time, I take the Corvette.
Amen brother. Might as well do wht sooths the soul..I bought my very first vette last week. Deliverered Wednesday and busted my right arm on Friday. Hell, I dont mind, I waited 45 years to get this ride. Now i visit her in the garage and whisper those sweet nothings. Hell, I've been a vette looker all my life, whats a few more weeks. and besides, I'm learning to type left handed.
glad your OK, I did the same and ended up having a heart attack at 45! lucky the ER doc zapped me and saved my life, then a couple of stents and a lifestyle change and its 10 years later and Im better then ever! Its amazing how many people balk at imediately going to the ER. I have every intention of owning a 2035 ZO6 and a harley fat boy!!!!!! Listen to your bod when it talks to you!
Happy it was just the meds and sorry you had to go thru all the anxieties involved in rushing to the hospital
I had open heart surgery (triple bypass) awhile back. The thought of driving the Vette helped get me thru the recovery phase--what a joy when I finally got in and drove it
