I have a friend that uses one for his 57 Tbird. He likes it.
I will put the battery tender on and run to a plug. After driving on and placing plastic sheets in place. Put the dust cover on and wrap the plastic up and round and tape in place. Should keep spiders and bugs out. As far as mice, I'll put dryer (fabric softener) sheets inside car and Decon in corners of garage.
Other things I do is over inflate tires (40lbs), place 2x10s under tires and unlatch top. That takes the pressure off top fabric. Add Sta-bil to full tank of gas. Has worked for me last 2 winters.
With winter closing in fast I was curious if anybody is using the storage bubble for there c5. Anybody have opinions of pros and cons. Thanks
The best thing you could ever buy....Had mine for 5 years. Absolutely no humidity and the car stays spotless. I also use a flannel cover on the car while inside the capsule.
Never heard the gas fumes thing but they do say it does a complete air change acouple times a day. I think I'm sold. My car is stored in doors in the winter but I love the idea of some extra protection.

I've been using the car capsule for 4 years now and love it. I have the outdoor version and it keeps my vert clean and tidy during the winter months here in Virginia. Just remember to knock off any snow or ice that might build up on it after a storm.
is there anything to be done while the car is in the storage bag , maint for filtres , etc?
It sounds like the outdoor model will.
take the battery out and run a tender on it in the house.
I dont think there are any filters although if your going to use it outdoors I would do something to keep it from blowing snow in.
Good luck.
I don't think I could take the abuse my wife and friends would give me for having something like that in the garage... I'd rather just wash and wax the car more often.
