I work at a Honda dealership as a salesperson and have been selling and managing at dealerships for about 3 years now. I sold and delivered a 07 Civic Coupe SI HPT the other day and had gone on a test drive with the customer and had to take the vehicle to get gas and detailed as well. For what the car is suppose to be, I have to say I really wasnt impressed...and to be honest you dont feel an ounce of power over the Lower model civics with smaller hp and torque till you hit about 6000 rpms(customer wanted to drive the car like he would if he owned it). Also for the car being factory stock there is a lot of interior noise, the car is extremley loud at 2-3k rpms. After finally delivery the car and going over all the features and watching it pull away It just made me happy that I own my vette and not what guys my age think is "cool". The funnier thing is the man that purchased the car was 45 and traded a 04 Altima 6 Speed.

Hmmmm......did I somehow stumble into Honda Civic General? I know I'm not the brightest bulb in the string - but what does this have to do with C5 Corvettes?

Honda's make an excellent daily driver, got a 95 Accord for work There is no way in hell my Vette will see a Wal-Mart parking lot. My Honda was broken into once this spring not to mention someone tried to steal it last Monday while I was filling in at a Sam's Club in Secaucus. A dependable DD is a must when owning a Vette

I am not sure they offered the 6 speed in 04. I thought the SER was not offered until 2005. Either way the guy traded in one of the most pretigous motors Nissan QV35 for a Civic SI??? If he was going after power the guy went backwards. That car puts out 265 and will run a 14 sec 1/4 mile. With that said still not Corvette
