The ABSOLUTE First thing you should be doing is LOWERING your temps!!! Dont listen to ANYONE who says otherwise!! Lets review,........ Cold air = dence air dence air = HORSEPOWER, horsepower= GOOD!!!! AND AS WE ALL KNOW GOOD = ,.....HORIWOOOOOOOOOD! You must learn that just becouse someone has the where with all to have something, doesnt nessaraly mean they have a simple clue as how things actualy work!!! Do yourself a BIG favor, Go to the TRACK (drag or roadracing near you) next spring you will see EVERYTHING and you will learn EVERYTHING and you will KNOW when your reading another freeken poser!!!

When stock my temps were around 198 while cruising and sitting still they would creep up to around 225. This seemed high to me at first but it is normal. GM used these high temps to control emissions.

190-192 when the car is on the move... If it's a hot day and I'm stuck in traffic I've seen it go to 210-220.

The answer to your question is absolutely normal for COOLANT temp. I don't know what temp your air should be.

Perfectly normal

Even in the height of the Vegas summer I made about 210 in traffic.

GM engineers know more than I do about these machines.

Mine stays around 196 degrees. That said, there is nothing wrong with the temps you are seeing.

Coolant's nice, but the oil temps need to be above 212 F.

On a hot day I see about 190°. Normal cruising and on the highway is stays between 170° and 180°.

The Hypertech 160° thermostat and tuning might have something to do with that though.
