DUMB Question

I have been trying to re set the clock by pressing the H button but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong???? Have owned the car for 5 years and therefore changed it at least 9 times .

Sometimes mine won`t react at first, just hold the button longer.

According to my 04 owners manual,

Setting the Time
Press and hold HR until the correct hour appears on
the display. Press and hold MN until the correct minute
appears on the display.

How long do I have to go in reverse to get the clock to go back an hour? Tried the battery but the time stayed the same. Am I to disconnect my 9 volt too?
