My profile pic is the previous one owner (doctor) '98 auto vette with 48,000 original miles - immaculate inside and out. Good deal or not?

Sorry, I ment to say that I just got this car (previous owner was a doctor) and I wanted to know if it was a good buy. It's a '98 w/40,000 mi.
Thanks for replying so quickly, you Guys seem like a great bunch! I look forward to talking with you all.

Clear title? Maintenance history? Accident history? All factors in determining a good deal.
Was the price $16,000 or $16,000 + $16,000?

No accidents, clear title, and looks well maintained (I would eat dinner off the engine compartment)!
Good price or not ($16K)?

I'd say that is a pretty good deal. Not bad mileage and as you describe it, well maintained.

Welcome jah, you did fine on your first deal. The problem with asking the question here is prices are different all over the country. You are also fighting the fact that some here have waited or walked into the deal of a life time and that then becomes the new low price. If you brought your new car up to Washington, you could get 18k for it, if it's as nice as you say.
Now, sit back, learn what you can about it on this site and simply enjoy your new car, your going to love it.

most of these guys think a good deal is when you get it for free.
