Sometimes when guys Rev on me I Rev back and nod my head.
When the light changes I just watch them take off.

Well Davs, that certainly looks like the one. Now, would he have smoked me, or, would it have been a draw? I have an '03 coupe with automatic tranny. Anyhoo, it doesn't matter. I don't race on the streets. Remember, we were both rolling at about 50mph when this went down.

But he has 500 HP and 383 ft/lbs of torque and does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. Nice for a "family sedan" huh?

Davs: just did a little research on that car. Yep. It's a burner allright. Geez, maybe I should put a supercharger on her....then I'd have around 450 horses, right?? Naaa...ain't gonna do that, er, at least not right away.

Becouse Its cheeper than BUYING a Vett.!!! All ANY of these Li'l kids want is to see the Vett. GO. Most will not,.......press the "Issue" once you go. they just want to get as close to that experiance as they can. Funny thing is, where i live in Florida, seems no one gets on their Vette.
They are driven like a snail, i enjoy doing short WOT burst up to about 60mph, since 90% of my driving is in the city.

That guy just wanted to see what you had.
Would it have killed you to just punch it for a second or two?
I remember driving my old 240sx and trying to get Vettes to race me, just because I loved Vettes, not because I thought I could beat them. Not one Vette ever raced or even touched the gas. I had a better chance racing a Honda owner. I guess they have some ballz atleast.

The rest of the time I drive a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlas Cierra

Cuz its funny. And kinda cool to see the Fast cars peel out and drive off.
Granted.. its fairly hard to get a Vette driver to do anything.. but the Mustang guys are almost always willing to do something.
If I can.. after he slows down....I usually try to catch up with the dude... and I throw him a thumbs up....
Makes their day... maybe I am wierd.. but its just good ol fashioned fun.

Most people here value their license for one and other peoples lives even more. If you had some nuts you could come to the track and try to run. Like to see you on the bank at Pocono at 125 or even 115.
