Default BSM removal!!

I tried the blow dryer and fishing line and it did not work! Has anyone removed it fairly easy with another method? Any suggestions would help. I'm about at the point of taping some c4 to the bsm and getting it off that way. J/K

Thanks,
Joe DiVita

blow dryer?....use fishing line and lots of goo gone. the goo gone is the trick, you have to soften up the old hard sticky tape

I was told on this site that a blow dryer would heat the old stuff up for an "easier removal". All I did was burn the crap out of my fingers! LOL All try your method thanks!!

Spray with lots of WD40, let it sit, get a friend to hold the hairdryer while you saw through with the fishing line. Keep spraying WD40 - it lubricates to help avoid scratching besides helping to loosen the adhesive. Don't set the WD40 on fire with the hair dryer - if you're burning your hands it's too hot and too close. Patience is key, and it really is easier with a second pair of hands.
