WOW! That does look really good. Could you give more details on how you did it? Removal how you taped off the different areas? OH, do you think that craft paint will hold up to the heat?

All I did was remove the liner, just pulled out (I think 15 of those push in clips) laid it flat then painted the whole thing with the paint for grills, including the edges, I went a little heavy were I was actually going to be using colors, they do soak in, the silver was real good (was a different brand than the other 2 colors)it omly took 1 coat but the others took about 3 or 4, it is kind of PIA, my wife came out to check on me to see how it was coming, she knows I dont care for painting, I told her this isn't exactly fun , I think it should be fine with the heat, there are plenty of plastic pieces under the hood that do just fine, I guess time will tell though , Thanks everbody for your posts and comments Ozzie
I have been looking at others hood liners so I thought I would play around out in the garage with my baby, so what do guys think? I think it turned out pretty good, Ozzie

Have you noticed any paint rubbing off in the engine compartment? Looks good but my wife wondered about the paint and the heat.(she is the practical one in the family)
