I just helped my Brother-in-law with his brakes on Saturday. We installed the ACDelco ceramic pads. It was a full kit, including new metal plates, front squeal pads, and brake lube. The box shows every place you need to install the lube, and we also applied anti-squeal silicon where the pads touch the piston and caliper. I was very impressed with the kit, and even more impressed with the hard braking and lack of any noise at all. FYI - they are rubbing against new S/D GM rotors. I'm gonna get these pads for mine and make sure to lube all the correct places, cause mine squeal like a pig in heat.
I run ceramics on my car now but im definately swiching next time i do break pads, no dust to worry about but soft on the pedal, i havent had to jam on my brakes to avoid any accidents but i dont know how conficent i would be with them, im swiching to a more agressive pad as i race my car alot, if yours is just for street driving go for it.

Mine is strictly street. no track or auto-X. I think I will wait and do more research before I change. Thanks to everyone for the replies.
