I went through two sets of the Eagle factory F1 Run Flats. Got about 35k out of each set. Living in the Seattle area and driving mostly on Interstate 5, which is very rough with exposed aggregate for miles, I decided to try the F-1 GS D3's. I love them! They are quitter, the best tire for rain.. which as you know we get plenty of in Seattle! The F-1 GS D3's are non run flats, but I just carry some fix a flat, just in case! So for me it NO more Run Flats and F-1 GS D3's for me!!
I worked for goodyear for a while. I am an auto-x er, a road racer, and a spirited street driver. I would take gs-d3's over supercar any day of the week. They are a much better all around tire. You are also way less likely to hydroplain on gs-d3's, and let's face it with fat tires that is a factor.
