Default Custom built exhaust question

i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the average diameter pipe is for most car back systems? Thinking about having a cat back custom made for the 04.

Thanks for any help.

From most of the exhaust I have seen The piping is 2.5" to 3" I am about to do 3" and I got quoted 500 from the collectors back but if you are going from your stock cats it would be 2.5" piping and it would be a little cheeper just my two cents hope that helps you out

I got LG street series headers with the x and high flow cats. Looks like I only need from the X back.

I found a local shop that would put something together with mufflers for about 900 and without for about 700. It is mandrel bent and stanless steel with chrome quad tips. Just trying to make a decision here.
