Had an interesting idea after reading so many posts about which cat-back exhaust system to buy. I had the same challenge before I decided to buy my Borla Stingers. I was worried about how much I would like the sound AFTER I forked over a sizeable chunk of change. Here's my idea...

Anyone wishing to participate could trade cat-back systems with another forum member whenever they wanted a change of pace. All they would do is post their desire on the forum stating the type of system they have and select the system they want to try from a list of other interested members.

I realize there are some issues with doing this such as the cost difference between cat-back systems and the potential geographical separation between the two parties, etc.

Just a thought. Whatya think????

That ( pardon the pun) sounds good to me.

I've also had good luck with local, custom exhaust shops.I plan to do something to spice up my Z.

Sounds good...that would be great for me but one the other hand..i wouldnt want my system to get damaged from road debris or someone that didnt know what they were doing during the install ( i know that these systems are metal but they could get dinged or scratchedin the process) I like to keep my things looking
