Default 98 C5 or O5 GT

Allright right now im looking to purchase either a 98 C5 or a 05 Mustang GT. I really don't know really which one to get. I really want the Vette though.

How good was the 98 Vette? I know that is probably a repost but any comments would be great.

I actually want a Torch Red one just like you. I think is by far the best color.
When you had your GT when you sat in the driverseat did it have that cockpit feel?

I just want to know how well 98 Vette is built and if people have had multiple problems with it.

If you really want the Vette, get it. The Mustang is a nice car, but not in the same league as the C5.

why a 98? Get the newest year with the least amount of miles you can afford. Look around carefully. Mustang is a nice car and will do well with an S/C. Corvette is in another league.

Yeah buy a new KIA or Daewoo (do they still make those?)

and since you had to ask this question on a Corvette forum I suggest you go with the 05 GT

I can't even look at the new mustangs, they're such a gigantic square box, there is nothing sporty about them, i dunno, I guess you know my answer.

I saw the title.

Thought 98 C5 or 05 Carerra GT - what is he thinking?

Then clicked on it

Saw 98 C5 or 05 Mustang GT - still: What is he thinking?

I'm sure the GT is more practical, and since it's new, will be more reliable, but it's not a vette. If it'll be a daily driver, I'd have to go with the GT, otherwise the vette.

I checked out the new mustangs when I started looking...they don't even begin to compare to the C5...on any level. It was a fun car...but nowhere close to the Vette. Nowhere close.
