Default Head light problem

My passenger side head light wont close the entire way. It may have been that way since I bought the car. Its only a hair higher than the other. Just noticed the other night when the light was hitting it just right.

Is there an adjustment?

There are a couple of things you can try. First raise the light and see if there is anything in the way. Second, wind it down by hand and see if that does a self correction. Third you can adjust the cover, the cover may be raised just a little. If it is not the cover you may have to get in there and tighten all the nuts and bolts holding the headlight in place. Good luck.

My guess is it'll be a cover adjustment thats needed. In any event, that's the easiest to adjust and you should try that first.

There are 4 torx screws. Two at the side and 2 at the back. You need the headlights closed to get at the back ones. If its raised at the front its the side screws that are out.

Try a little trial and error and you'll be able to get it to seat a little better.
